GREEN BAY, Wis. – The St. Scholastica women's cross country team placed third, while #Jessie Lovering# (Sr.-Bemidji, Minn.) finished fourth overall, at the Tom Barry Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Lovering finished with a time of 19:25.0 to lead the Saints, just 75 seconds back from the race leader. Thirteen Saints finished in the team-adjusted top-50.

Second for the Saints was #Kristin Gronbeck# (So.-Battle Lake, Minn.), who finished 17th overall with a time of 20:36.1. A pair of teammates finished within seconds of Gronbeck, as #Emily Dunning# (Sr.-Superior, Wis.) placed 20th with a team of 20:42.3, and #Shannon Guse# (Jr.-Zimmerman, Minn.) 23rd with a time of 20:49.1.

#Annie Drache# (Sr.-Roseville, Minn.) was the fifth-highest place runner for the Saints, as she finished 27th with a time of 21:05.4.

The Saints will be in the Twin Ports next weekend, competing in the University of Minnesota-Duluth Invitational. The race begins at 10:30 a.m.
