MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNS AT THE ROY GRIAK INVITATIONAL

The Saints have three personal-best times on the day

MINNEAPOLIS – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team competed at the 25th Annual Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota on Saturday.

Overall the men finished 22nd out of 30 teams. St. Scholastica was the second finishing Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) School falling behind Minnesota-Morris who finished 21st.

#Nick Mangan# paced the Saints finishing 30th with a time of 26:42.1 seconds. #Pat Bigaouette# followed with a time of 28:53.8 seconds finishing 165th. Bigaouette also qualified for the UW-Oshkosh Meet later this year, giving the Saints five men that have qualified.

#Ben Carlson# was the third Saint across the finish line, finishing 201st with a time of 29:36.6 seconds. #Tony Bye# finished 205th with a time of 29:47.8 seconds. #Charlie Haberman# had a personal-best time of 29:57.9 seconds, which placed him 212th overall.

The Saints will be competing at the Northland Invitational next Saturday in Ashland, Wis.
