Duluth, Minn. – The St. Scholastica women's basketball team will once again play in a Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by University of Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday and Sunday in Menomonie, Wis.

The Saints will look for a winning streak this weekend at the Turkey Shootout … Sophomore Bri Allen (West St. Paul, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) is averaging 15.7 points in the first three games and is a rebound short of averaging a double-double … Freshman #Savanna Treichel# has stepped right in and is second on the team in scoring at 8.3 points per game and is tied for second 15 total rebounds … CSS is a first half team, only being outscored by three points in the first 20 minutes of action so far this season.

UW-Stout Blue Devils (2-2)
The Blue Devils have opened up the season 2-2 by winning their last two games over Ripon College (Wis.) and Northwestern College …Sami Schroeder and Tricia VanVreede are leading the Blue Devils in scoring with 13 and 12.3 points per game through three games so far … VanVreede is also leading the team in rebounds with 7.7 per game … VanVreede scored a career-high 23 points in the win over Northwestern on Tuesday … As a team Stout is scoring 59 points per game, while giving up 74 per game.

The Titans have opened up the season 4-1 and are coming off of a win over Ripon College on Tuesday night … Their lone loss came against nationally-ranked St. Norbert College … Michelle Boeder is the lone Titan averaging double figures in scoring with 10.5 per game … Three other players are over 8.5 points per game … Shelby Churchill is leading the team in rebounds with nine per game … The Titans are averaging 57.5 points per game while giving up only 48.2.
