MINNEAPOLIS – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team took part in the Roy Griak Invitational today, hosted by the University of Minnesota.
A total of 35 NCAA Division III schools competed at the meet. The Saints placed 27th with 753 points. The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse took the invite with 48 points. The University of Wisconsin-Platteville was second with 81 points. Emory University was third with 113 points.

Jr.-Baxter, Minn./Brainerd) was 44th overall out of 370 runners to pace CSS with a time of 27:05 seconds. #Pat Bigaouette# (
So.-Chaska, Minn.) was the second Saints runner to finish with a season-best time of 28:42 seconds placing 162nd overall.

So.-Chippewa Falls, Wis./McDonell) was 195th overall with a time of 29:09 seconds. #Jimmy Linn# (
So.-Anoka, Minn.) posted a time of 30:30 seconds for 254th place and #John Hunn# (
Fr.-Duluth, Minn./East) was the fifth CSS runner to finish with a time of 31:03 seconds, which was 274th overall.
The Saints will have next weekend off and will compete at the Pine Hill Invitational in Carlton, Minn. on Saturday, October 10th. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
