NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team finished 12th out of 17 teams today at the St. Olaf Invitational.
The Saints as a team had 10 personal records and six season bests. #Nick Mangan# (
Jr.-Baxter, Minn./Brainerd) led the team, finishing 18th overall with a time of 27:03 seconds. That was a personal record for Mangan. #Tony Bye# (
So.-Chippewa Falls, Minn./McDonell) ran a time of 28:50 seconds to finish 91st overall.

So.-Chaska, Minn.) was the next CSS finisher as he was 96th overall with a time of 28:57 seconds. #Jimmy Linn# (
So.-Anoka, Minn.) ran a personal record time of 29:47 seconds to place 131st and #Nate Boening# (
Fr.-Woodbury, Minn./Park) ran personal best time of 30:15 to finish 150th.
Division II's Minnesota State-Mankato won the event with 65 points. St. John's University was second with 91 points and the University of St. Thomas was third with 93 points. The Saints had 363 points and defeated fellow Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) schools Martin Luther and Northwestern.
The Saints will take part in the University of Minnesota Griak Invitational next Saturday in the Twin Cities. The meet begins at 10 a.m.
