CSS MEN FINISH FOURTH AT UMD INVITE

Mangan runs best time of the season

DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's cross country team placed fourth today at the Campus Quest VI, hosted by the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Minn.-Duluth won the meet with 39 points. Lakehead University was second with 50 points and the University of Wisconsin-Superior was third with 57 points. The Saints were fourth with 82 points.

#Nick Mangan# (Jr.-Baxter, Minn.) led the Saints again, finishing fourth overall and the second collegiate finisher with a personal-best time of 27:46 seconds. #Tony Bye# (So.-Chippewa Falls, Wis./McDonell) was the second Saint to finish as he was 17th overall with a time of 28:51 seconds. #Pat Bigaouette# (So.-Chaska, Minn.) was 25th overall, posting a time of 29:32. #Robert Kouba# (Fr.-Washburn, Wis.) ran his best time in a Saints uniform at 30:39 seconds to finish 33rd overall. #Jimmy Linn# (So.-Anoka, Minn.) was the fifth CSS runner to finish with a time of 30:59 seconds and was 35th.

The Saints will be at the Les Duke Invite next weekend in Grinnell, Iowa. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m.
