UW-Oshkosh struck first, 20 minutes into the match, when Jessica Erny beat the goalkeeper near post to make the score 1-0. The Titans held the lead into halftime, but it didn't last long in the second half as #Robin Johnson# (Sr.-Duluth, Minn./Marshall School) got a feed from #Sara Olson# (Sr.-Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley) and put it into the net, just two minutes into the half.

The Titans regained the lead less than two minutes later on a Carmen Fiordellisi goal. Then in the 68th minute, #Nicole Brandt# (So.-Rochester, Minn./Lourdes) sent in a corner kick that was gathered by #Angie Groh# (Jr.-Andover, Minn./St. Francis) and Groh beat the goalkeeper to tie it up at 2-2.

The score remained 2-2 after 90 minutes and the contest went to overtime. The Titans had many chances in the first overtime, but could not capitalize.

The second overtime was dominated by CSS as it out-shot Oshkosh 6-0. Late in the second overtime, Robin Johnson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School) flipped the ball over the goalkeeper, but was tripped up on the way past, which led to a penalty kick. Cortney McKenzie (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) lined up the kick with 108:50 on the clock and connected as the Saints win another thriller 3-2.
