Women's meet results

Both Alex Aarestad (Halstad, Minn./Oak Grove HS) and Stacey Peterson (Gilbert, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) set new school records on Friday at the Univ. of Minn.-Twin Cities Gopher Open in Minneapolis.

Stacey Peterson (Gilbert, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS), the 400 meter dash champion last week at the UMAC outdoor championship, broke the Saints record in the same race at the Gopher Open with a 3rd place time of 59.65 seconds.

The winner of both the 100m and 400m hurdles races at the UMAC meet six days ago, Alex Aarestad (Halstad, Minn./Oak Grove HS) set a new school record in the 400m hurdle race at the Open with a new CSS-best time of 1 minute, 8.11 seconds.
