Ahead 3-0 following three quick doubles victories, St. Scholastica's Peter Sparby (North Oaks, Minn./Mounds View HS) picked up the first singles win of the day with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
Scott Hawley (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) was next with a win at No. 2 by an identical straight set score, followed by Dillon Sterle (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS)'s win at No. 1.
Will Ruckel (Anoka, Minn./Anoka Senior HS) rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4, and then Nemanja Radosevic (New Belgrade, Serbia/Duluth Central HS) at No. 3 and Ryan LaCoursiere (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln HS) at No. 5 closed out the win with easy victories of the their own to complete the shutout.
