A 9-0 win at Minnesota-Morris on Sunday afternoon gave the Saints an even dozen UMAC regular season titles, all in a row and without a conference loss, while extending their win streak over league foes to an astounding 61-0.

Following a 3-0 lead from doubles action, the Saints (18-6, 8-0 UMAC) rolled to six more wins in singles play losing only a total of two games.

Senior Casey Ruberto (Thunder Bay, Ont./Hammarskjold HS) extended her current win streak to four matches with a victory at 1-singles while Danni Sonnenfeld (Harris, Minn./North Branch HS) at 3-singles and Katie Kuitunen (Gilbert, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) at 4-singles both stretched their own winning streaks to six in a row.

The rout in Morris, Minn., was the team's fourth UMAC win over three days in four different cities. They defeated Northwestern 6-3 in St. Paul on Friday night, opened Saturday with a 9-0 thrashing of Martin Luther in New Ulm, Minn., then traveled to Mankato, Minn., where they defeated Bethany Lutheran by the same 9-0 score.

The Saints head back to the courts for the postseason UMAC tournament on Friday and Saturday, April 25th and 26th in St. Paul.

A 2007 NCAA tournament participant, the team will learn if they receive a second consecutive bid when the 2008 tournament participants are announced on Tuesday, April 29th.
