Sunday morning's match in Morris, Minn., was the final regular season contest of the 2008 schedule and with their 8-1 win over the host Cougars of Minn.-Morris the Saints not only captured the regular season conference title but also completed their 11th consecutive UMAC slate without a loss and extended their regular season conference winning streak to 66 matches.

A three-win outing in doubles action got the Saints rolling and they finished off the Cougars by winning five of six singles matches.

Each singles win was in straight sets, four of them by final scores that saw Morris capture no more than two set victories from their Saints opponents. Alex Rogers (Rochester, Minn./Century HS) even completed a 6-0, 6-0 rout at 6-singles for his third win in a row.

St. Scholastica's Nemanja Radosevic (New Belgrade, Serbia/Duluth Central HS) also kept alive a win streak with his 6-1, 6-1 win at 3-singles, extending his season best string to 10 wins in a row.

All that is left for the Saints following their regular season march through the league is the postseason UMAC tournament in St. Paul on Friday and Saturday, April 25th and 26th.
