St. Scholastica's women's tennis team closed out their weekend on Sunday with an easy 9-0 win over visiting Minnesota-Morris in the Burns Wellness Commons.

After picking up a pair of wins in doubles along with a default victory at the No. 3 doubles slot, the Saints reeled off four individual wins in singles play with two more default wins coming in the No. 5 and 6 slots.

Katie Motley (Eveleth, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS) picked up a quick 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles followed by Lynnae Wilke (Parkers Prairie, Minn./Parkers Prairie HS)'s win at No. 2, Danni Sonnenfeld (Harris, Minn./North Branch HS)'s win at No. 3, and Katie Kuitunen (Gilbert, Minn./Eveleth-Gilbert HS)'s victory at No. 4.

The victory moves St. Scholastica's season mark to 10-5 and 2-0 in the UMAC while Morris falls to 0-8 and 0-1.

The Saints also keep alive an unbeaten regular season UMAC streak that began with the 1997 season. Including this weekend's two conference victories, the Saints have an all-time UMAC record of 55-0.
