From the opening toss of the first serve on Sunday in St. Paul, the Saints had host Hamline University's number, dispatching the Pipers with a 9-0 win.

Three doubles wins in which they dropped a combined total of only eight games staked the Saints to a 3-0 lead heading into singles play, which wasn't any prettier for the hosts.

Nemanja Radosevic (New Belgrade, Serbia/Duluth Central HS) at No. 2, Will Ruckel (Anoka, Minn./Anoka Senior HS) at No. 3, and Ryan LaCoursiere (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln HS) at No. 4 each won quickly and decisively, the trio combining to win 36 of 43 games.

Dillon Sterle (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) at No. 1, and No. 6 Joe Vidmar also won in straight sets but with more of a challenge from their Hamline opponents, taking identical 7-5, 6-4 wins.

Alex Rogers (Rochester, Minn./Century HS) had the biggest fight on his hands at No. 5 singles, falling behind after a first set loss but rallying to take the second by a 6-2 score then closing out the win with a 10-6 third set super-tie break victory.
