ABERDEEN, S.D. – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team suffered a tough 1-0 loss today at Presentation College.

The loss drops St. Scholastica to 12-4-2 overall and 9-2-1 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC). Presentation improves to 7-6-2 overall and 6-3-2 in the conference, which is good enough for third in the league. CSS is now 12-2-0 all-time against Presentation and has lost two of the last three in Aberdeen.

The lone goal of the game was scored with about 12 minutes left in the second half when Presentation sent a shot from midfield and the 30 mile-per-hour winds carried the ball into net.

The Saints will face the University of Minnesota-Morris tomorrow in a critical UMAC matchup. The Saints have a one point advantage on the Cougars, but have played one more conference match. Tomorrow's match could decide the regular season conference championship. The match gets underway at approximately 2 p.m. in Morris following the women's match.
