ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. – Senior #Robin Johnson# (Sr.-Duluth, Minn./Marshall) broke the school record for career points this afternoon as she scored three goals to lead the St. Scholastica women's soccer team to a 6-1 victory over Crown College at Storm Field.

Johnson's three goals give her 160 career points, breaking the previous record of 154 held by Jen Seip ('02-'05). Johnson has now scored at least one goal in six straight matches and has 19 points during that span. The hat trick was the fifth in her career.

The Saints scored their first goal in the 23rd minute when it was Robin Johnson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School) breaking the points record with a goal. #Angie Groh# (Jr.-Andover, Minn./St. Francis) assisted on the goal. #Sarah Bartlette# (Jr.-East Grand Forks, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's) scored 2:21 later to put the Saints up 2-0. #Sara Olson# (Sr.-Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley) had the assist.

Johnson scored her second  goal of the match in the 32nd minute to make the score 3-0. Sara Olson (Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley CC) got a goal of her own with less than seven minutes left in the first half to make it 4-0. #Nicole Brandt# (So.-Rochester, Minn./Lourdes) and #Melisa Entinger# (Jr.-Mound, Minn./Holy Trinity) had the assists.

After the Storm got on the scoreboard in the 67th minute, CSS added a couple of more unassisted goals. First, it was Robin Johnson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School) with her third goal of the match in the 73rd minute.  #Abby Arrowsmith# (Jr.-Ham Lake, Minn./Blaine) had the assist.  Then it was #Megan Flesvig# (Fr.-Duluth, Minn./Proctor) scoring her first collegiate goal with 1:40 left in the match to make the final score 6-1.

The Saints out-shot Crown 28-9 in the match. #Bailey Mahlum# (Fr.-Bismarck, N.D.) had two saves to improve to 10-2-0 this season. Carrie Meyer had 13 saves in the loss for the Storm.

The Saints improve to 14-2 overall and 10-0 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC). The Saints have won 53 straight UMAC regular season matches. The Storm fall to 6-5 overall and 5-4 in the conference. The Saints are a perfect 18-0 all-time against Crown.

The Saints will travel to face Northwestern College tomorrow. The kickoff is scheduled for noon.
