DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica women's soccer team earned its 200th win as a program with a 6-0 victory over Martin Luther College today, and in doing so, senior #Robin Johnson# (Sr.-Duluth, Minn./Marshall) broke the school record with her 59th career goal.

Johnson broke the record once held by Nikki Stroinski ('92-'95). Johnson, who also added a pair of assists on the day, tied the school record for career points (154). She is currently tied with Jen Seip ('02-'05). Johnson has scored at least one goal in the last five matches and has registered at least two points in the last eight matches.

CSS got on the scoreboard at the 9:46-mark when with a scramble in front of the goal #Ellyn Litecky# (Jr.-Duluth, Minn./East) put the ball in the net. #Melisa Entinger# (Jr.-Mound, Minn./Holy Trinity) and Robin Johnson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School) had the assists. The score remained 1-0 until the 42nd minute when #Angie Groh# (Jr.-Andover, Minn./St. Francis) scored her fourth goal of the season. #Beth Flesvig# (Jr.-Proctor, Minn.) had the assist.

Beth Flesvig (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS) then scored her first collegiate goal in the 53rd minute off a crossing pass. #Sara Olson# (Sr.-Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley CC) and Robin Johnson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School) had the assists. Just 1:30 later, Johnson scored the record-breaking goal to put the Saints up 4-0. #Kristen Stangel# (Sr.-Grand Rapids, Minn.) and #Abby Arrowsmith# (Jr.-Ham Lake, Minn./Blaine

Sara Olson (Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley CC) scored in the 69th minute with an assist from Stangel . #Cortney McKenzie# (Jr.-Maple Grove, Minn.) scored the final goal of the afternoon in the 71st minute to make the score 6-0. #Sarah Bartlette# (Jr.-East Grand Forks, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's) had the assist.

The Knights would not get a shot off in the match as the Saints had 37-0 advantage in shots. The last time the Saints did not allow a shot in a match was last season against Bethany Lutheran College. CSS goalkeeper #Erin Olejnicak# (Fr.-Brainerd, Minn.) got the win in net. Amanda Koch received the loss for Martin Luther.

The Saints improve to 13-2-0 overall and 9-0-0 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC). The Saints have won 52 straight UMAC regular season matches. The Knights fall to 3-7-1 overall and 2-6-0 in the conference. The Saints are 15-10-4 all-time against Martin Luther and have won the last six meetings.

The Saints will be on the road next weekend when they will face Crown College on Friday and Northwestern College on Saturday. Friday's match against Crown begins at 1 p.m.
