St. Scholastica (13-2-1, 11-0-0 UMAC) displayed their offensive firepower for the second straight game, defeating the visiting Bethany Lutheran College Vikings (3-12-1, 3-7-0 UMAC) by a score of 11-0 at Public Schools Stadium in Duluth on Saturday.

On Friday, the Saints pounded out a 13-0 win over Martin Luther College on the PSS turf.

Robin Johnson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall School) exploded for a hat trick to lead the Saints in scoring for the game and on the season with her 10th, 11th, and 12th goals of the year.

Johnson was not alone in the scoring outburst as four Saints all scored their 10th goals of the season as Sara Olson (Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley CC) (2), Shannon Kresky (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS), & Sarah Bartlette (East Grand Forks, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's) joined Johnson in reaching double-digits in scoring on the year.

Olson's first of two tallies came after a trick corner kick play where Kresky faked a switch with Angie Groh (Andover, Minn./St. Francis HS), instead rolling the ball only a yard into play where Groh then crossed the ball in to Olson for an easy tap-in.

Meanwhile, Groh herself scored early in the second half—her fifth of the season—as did defender Cortney McKenzie (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS), who sent her second of the season into the back of the net on a free kick.

It wasn't all about the team's top scorers, as unfamiliar faces shown through again when Jen Krokum (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) headed a perfect Sarah Bartlette (East Grand Forks, Minn./Shattuck St. Mary's) corner kick in for her third of the season, and Becky Bowerman (4) slipped one just past a diving Bethany goalie.

In the midst of the offensive excitement, Kelly Momsen (Austin, Minn./Austin HS) quietly recorded her seventh shutout of the season, to bring her school record total up to 22.

The Saints travel to Augsburg College in Minneapolis this Tuesday evening for a non-conference battle with the MIAC's Auggies.
