Dana Moore enters her 26th season leading the St. Scholastica volleyball program in 2022.
Moore was named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Coach of the Year in 2019, her first since the 2003 season. She guided the Saints to a share of the 2019 UMAC Regular Season Title. The four-time UMAC Coach of the Year (1997, 2001, 2003, 2019) also recorded her 400th career coaching win in 2019. In 2020-21 academic year, she led the Saints to a second-place finish in the UMAC
During her tenure, Moore led the Saints to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history in 2011, including winning their first-ever NCAA Tournament match vs. the College of Saint Benedict. The Saints were co-UMAC Regular Season champions and won their fourth UMAC Tournament title under Coach Moore in 2011. In 2010, the Saints captured their first outright regular season UMAC Championship since 1988, finishing unbeaten at 14-0.
Moore has coached six Conference Players of the Year, two Conference Rookies of the Year, a three-time Conference Defensive Player of the Year, seven NAIA All-Region players, 14 NAIA All-American Scholar Athletes, four Academic All-District athletes and one Academic All-American.

She moved to Duluth in 1986 where she worked for the City of Duluth before moving into an assistant coach role with the St. Scholastica program in the 1995 and 1996 seasons, and then stepped up into the lead role beginning with the 1997 campaign. Soon after, Moore became CSS’ Athletic Director in 2000 and held that position until 2004.
Moore has also coached in the East End Club volleyball program, directing a U16 Select Team. She specializes in leadership and team building.
