Trent Beseth of track and field is this week's Saints Male Performer of the Week. Beseth had two personal best throws in the shot put and weight throw events at the St. Olaf Invite on 1/28. He earned first place in the shot put with his hurl of 16.27m (53-04.50ft), which bettered Beseth's school record that he set this season. He was a runner-up finish in the weight throw with a toss of 16.51m (54-02.00ft). His weight throw now sits first in the MIAC and 12th in the region, while his shot put toss is second in the MIAC, 7th in the region, and 13th in the nation.
