For the second week in a row, Track & Field's Trent Beseth is this week’s Toppers Pizza Male Performer of the Week. With a booming throw of 49.39m (162-00ft), Trent Beseth became the 2023 MIAC champion in the discus throw on 5/12. Beseth outclassed the competition by 15ft on Friday afternoon to win the school's first men's outdoor title in MIAC history. On Saturday in shot put event, he put forth a throw of 14.65m (48-00.75ft) to place fifth overall and add four more points to his whooping weekend total of 14.
