Baseball's Jake Schelonka is this week’s Toppers Pizza Male Performer of the Week. Schelonka hit .667 (6-for-9) in a series split with St. Olaf on 4/29. Schelonka batted in three runs on six hits and crossed home plate four times. In game one, he went 2-for-3 at the plate, and Schelonka pitched a full game for the Saints, in 7.0 innings of work he recorded a season high of seven strikeouts and only allowed seven hits in the Saints 6-3 victory. In the second contest, he would hit a double in the top of 1st and eventually score to put CSS on the board early. In a back-and-forth battle, the Oles’ lead 12-9, Schelonka hit a two-run homer in the 9th, followed by a solo homerun by Jack Harris to tie up the game. Despite the late comeback by St. Olaf, he went 4-for-6 and added a stolen base.
