Tennis’ Julia Maier is this week’s Toppers Pizza Female Performer of the Week. Maier was perfect in conference play over the weekend going 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-0 at No. 1 doubles with partner Madilyn Jankila. On Friday against the College of Saint Benedict, Maier won at No. 1 doubles by a score of 8-1 and then proceeded to win at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-3. Then on Sunday against Macalester College, Maier won in doubles play 8-2 and then won in straight sets in singles 6-2, 6-4 as the Saints went 1-1 on the weekend.
