Softball’s Lauren Laviano is this week’s Toppers Pizza Female Performer of the Week. In Sunday’s two wins for the St. Scholastica softball team to open its spring trip, first-year catcher Lauren Laviano went 7-for-9 at the plate with six RBIs, two doubles and a home run. Her three-run home run against Washington College (Md.) was her first collegiate homer and gave the Saints the lead for good. Laviano has four multi-hit and four multi-RBI games in her first six collegiate starts.
