Basketball’s Nick Carlson is this week’s Toppers Pizza Male Performer of the Week. In three games last week, Carlson averaged a team-high 19.0 points, while shooting a team-best 54% from the field. Last Monday, Carlson scored a then season-high of 23 points, while also grabbing eight rebounds against Bethel University in the program’s first MIAC victory. Carlson had the game-tying bucket at the end of regulation and then the game-winning layup in overtime to beat the Royals. On Saturday, Carlson topped his season high with 26 points against Gustavus Adolphus College.
