Cross Country’s Maj-Lis Helmer is this week’s Toppers Pizza Female Performer of the Week. At Friday’s Tori Neubauer Invitational in La Crosse, Helmer placed sixth overall for the second straight race in a field that featured 283 runners. Helmer finished with the fifth-fastest 6k time in program history at 22:19. That was 33 seconds faster than her time at the Blugold Invitational two weeks ago. She was the only NCAA Division III runner in the top 13 not from a UW program.
