This week’s Toppers Pizza Senior Male Performer of the Week is baseball’s Lane Girtz. Girtz had a breakout 2019 season for the Saints, being named Second Team All-Midwest Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com. The First Team All-UMAC performer led the team with a .400 batting average and the led the conference with a .512 on-base percentage in 2019.
 
Girtz appeared in 47 games over the last three years for the Saints. He registered 47 hits and 24 RBIs during that span. The Management Major was a three-time Academic All-UMAC choice.
