Women’s Hockey’s Lexi Thomeczek is this week’s Female Performer of the Week. In last weekend’s series against Trine University (Ind.), Thomeczek stopped 70 of 71 shots she faced in leading the Saints to a 1-0-1 record. On Friday, she stopped all 48 shots in a 2-0 victory. The 48 saves are the most in a shutout of her career and also ties for the second-most saves in a game period over her four years.
