Women’s Hockey’s Lexi Thomeczek is this week’s Wells Fargo Female Performer of the Week. Thomeczek made 37 saves and posted her seventh shutout of the season in Friday night’s NCHA Slaats Cup Semifinal win over Lake Forest College (Ill.) to lead the Saints to their first NCHA Championship game appearance. The win also set a new single-season program record for victories by a goaltender. She then made 40 saves in the double overtime championship game loss. Thomeczek was named to the Slaats Cup All-Tournament Team.
