Women’s Hockey’s Lexi Thomeczek is this week’s Wells Fargo Female Performer of the Week. Thomeczek went 3-0 last week, allowing only one goal on 107 shots faced. She became the program’s winningest goalie following the 2-1 win over the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Tuesday. Thomeczek then recorded back-to-back shutouts in a conference showdown with Lake Forest College (Ill.) over the weekend to set the single-season program record for shutouts (6). Her 40 saves against the Foresters on Saturday was her second-most this season.
