Men's Track & Field's Frank CerarĀ is this week's Wells Fargo Male Performer of the Week. At the Gregory Invitational, hosted by North Central College (Ill.) on Wednesday and Thursday, CerarĀ competed in the decathlon, his first of the spring. He would conclude Wednesday with personal-best time of 53.85 in the 400m run. He also set a personal-best mark in the long jump at 19'7" (5.97m). On Thursday, he tied for first in the pole vault, clearing 12'5.5" (3.80m). Cerar also finished as runner-up in the discus with a toss of 114'9" (34.98m). He also set a personal-best mark in the javelin at 124'8" (37.99m).Ā He would finish eighth overall with 5,785 points.
