For the third straight week, Men's Basketball's Brandon Newman is the Wells Fargo Male Performer of the Week. Newman averaged 19 points and 4.5 rebounds per game over the weekend as the Saints went 1-1 to open conference play. Against preseason favorite Northwestern, Newman led all scorers with 23 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds to go with three steals.
