Last Action: It's been over two weeks since the Hodgert and Dickinson both competed at the NCAA Central Region Championships … Hodgert posted a pair of top 10 finishes to earn All-Region laurels in both disciplines for the second straight season … Dickinson also earned All-Region accolades in both disciplines for the second consecutive year as she became the first CSS women's skier to post a pair of top five finishes at a Central Region Championship.

Hodgert Earns All-CCSA Honors: For the third straight season, Hodgert was named to the All-CCSA (Central Collegiate Ski Association) Second Team … Dickinson just missed All-CCSA accolades for the second year in a row, being shy by only one point due to the missed races during the season.

Improvement the Second Time Around: Of the two St. Scholastica men's skiers and one women's skier to make multiple NCAA Championships all three had a NCAA-best finish in their second appearances.

Mass Starts: Saturday's races will be mass starts, as opposed to individual starts, which will be Thursday … The Saints have had their best performances in the mass starts at NCAA Championships … This will be the first 20km freestyle mass start since 2014 when Paul Schommer earned All-America honors … In 2013, Jeremy Hecker posted an 11th place finish in the 20km freestyle … Anita Kirvesniemi has the best women's finish by a CSS skier in the 15km classic mass start in 2015.

Scoring at the Championships: In order to post a team score an individual must place in the top 30 in either the freestyle or classic event … A total of 40 skiers are scheduled to participate in each race … Those who finish in the top 10 in either race earn All-America status … Paul Schommer is the lone CSS skier to earn All-America accolades by finishing eighth in the 2014 20km Freestyle.
