DULUTH, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica's
Reitler Hodgert (Bend, Ore./Summit HS ) and
Kelsey Dickinson (Winthrop, Wash./Liberty Bell HS) were both named to the All-CCSA (Central Collegiate Ski Association) Second Team in their respective genders; it was announced on Tuesday.
Hodgert was named to the Men's All-CCSA second team for the second straight season. Hodgert had six straight top 10 CCSA finishes prior to the NCAA Central Region Championships this past weekend. His sixth place finish in the classic race at the Michigan Tech Qualifier was his best to date, until a third place finish in 10km freestyle this past weekend.
Dickinson has not skied for the Saints since the 2012-13 season, due to her commitments to the U.S. Biathlon team. However, she has been St. Scholastica's best female skier this season in all but one event that she has competed in. Dickinson had seven top 15 finishes, including four top 10 finishes in CCSA competition, prior to last weekend's NCAA Central Region Championships. She proceeded to have a program-best finish of second in Saturday's 5km freestyle.
Both Hodgert and Dickinson are in line to qualify for the NCAA Championships in Steamboat, Colorado March 9-12. Official selections will be made next week.
