Notables-Peterson's weight throw mark ranks fourth in NCAA Division III-Wagner has four top three finishes on the day

Jeremy Peterson (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) broke the weight throw and shot put program records on Saturday as the St. Scholastica men's track & field team competed at the Twin Ports Invite, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Peterson Breaks RecordsPeterson won the shot put with a toss of 49'10.5" (15.20m), breaking his own program record by .20m. He would not win the weight throw, but still broke his own program record with a mark of 58'1" (17.70m) to finish second in the event. That breaks his old record by .38m.
Another Program RecordThe 4x1600m relay program record was established today as Jimmy Lovrien (Alexandria, Minn./Jefferson HS), Jacob Gallagher (Lisbon, N.D./Lisbon HS), Adam Wallenta (Eagan, Minn./Farmington HS) and Easton Foss (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS) ran a time of 25:10.81. Kenneth Jinkins (Mendota Heights, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) in the 60m hurdles, posting a personal-best winning time of 8.61.
Luke McKenzie (Lindstrom, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS) won the 800m run with a time of 2:01.34.
Other Top PerformancesWagner placed second in the 200m dash with a time of 23.54 and in the pole vault clearing personal-best 13'11.25" (4.25m). Wagner also placed third in the high jump, clearing 6'0.75" (1.85m).
Corey Anderson (Duluth, Minn./Hermantown HS) was second in the high jump, clearing a season-best height of 6'4.75" (1.95m). Anderson was also runner-up in the triple jump with a mark of 41'8" (12.70m).
Mike Naumann (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern HS) was behind Wagner in the 200m dash in third with a time of 23.92. Gallagher was fourth in the mile run with a personal-best time of 4:49.49.
Up NextThe Saints will be at the Warren Bowlus Open, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stout next weekend. Action begins on Friday with the multi events and continues on Saturday.
