STEVENS POINT, Wis. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's and women's track & field teams broke two program records at the Pointer Qualifier on Saturday, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Sammi Argir (Chisholm, Minn./Hibbing HS) broke the program record in the 60m dash relays, posting a time of 7.99. Argir also placed seventh in the 200m dash with a season-best time of 26.28.
Taylor Gibson (La Crescent, Minn./La Crescent HS) broke the second program record in the 800m run, finishing 11
th in a time of 2:17.95.
Brianna Buske (Bloomer, Wis./Bloomer HS) won the 400m dash, but did not better her time, finishing at 58.69. As of this release, Buske is ranked 23
rd in the 400m dash.
Nicole Christianson (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids HS) was fourth in the high jump, clearing 5'4.5" (1.64m).
Jordan Johnson (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern HS) was fifth in the 3,000m run with a time of 11:02.64.
Danielle Dickson (Roseville, Minn./Totino Grace HS/Roseville HS) was ninth in the long jump with a leap of 16'1.5" (4.91m).
For the men,
Alex Horoshak (Two Harbors, Minn./Two Harbors HS) was fourth in the long jump with a mark of 21'9" (6.63m).
Jeremy Peterson (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) placed eighth in the weight throw with a toss of 56'1.75" (17.11m).
Corey Anderson (Duluth, Minn./Hermantown HS) was ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 41'9.75" (12.74m).
