2010-11 Schedule

DULUTH, Minn. – This week we spotlight a forward, two defenders, and a goaltender from the state of Minnesota.

Keri Pickel (Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS (Minnesota Thoroughbreds)), a forward from Rochester, was an honorable mention All-State selection and all-conference choice for the Minnesota Thoroughbreds of the Midwest Elite AAA Hockey League. At Rochester Mayo High School, she received all-conference nods in soccer. Pickel was Academic All-State in both hockey and soccer.

Sonya DeBruzzi (Golden, Colo./Centennial HS-Minn.), a defenseman from Golden, Colorado, played her high school hockey for Centennial High School in the Twin Cities. At Centennial, DeBruzzi was an honorable mention all-conference selection.

Another defenseman, Sam Schulz, from Coon Rapids, was a two-year captain and scored two goals last season for the Cardinals.

Goaltender, Rachel Borchardt (Willow River, Minn./Willow River HS ) from Willow River, played for the CSS women's club team last season.

The Saints will play their first-ever game on Friday, November 5th at the newly-remodeled Mars Lakeview Arena against Augsburg College.
