2010 Schedule
DULUTH, Minn. – St. Scholastica head women's soccer coach
Dave Reyelts has announced that Rochester's John Marshall High School's
Megan Marolt (Rochester, Minn./John Marshall HS), Rochester's Mayo High School's
Katelyn Hallum (Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS), and Chaska High School's
Claire Lubansky (Chaska, Minn./Chaska HS) all intend on playing for the Saints in the fall.
These three recruits join the previous 14 mentioned in the 2010 recruiting class. Head coach
Dave Reyelts is bringing in the largest recruiting class in program history this season. CSS lost 15 players from last year's squad, 10 of which played in 20 or more games, and its top three scorers.
Marolt, a forward at John Marshall High School, led the team in scoring for three straight seasons. She was a three-time all-conference selection and led her team to a sectional runner-up finish in 2009.
Hallum, a defender for Mayo High School, was a two-time all-conference selection. She was part of two conference championship teams and was team captain her last two seasons.
Marolt and Hallum squared off against each other in high school, but both play for the Rochester Youth Soccer Association (RYSA) U18C1 squad during the summer that were state champions in 2006 and league and district champions in 2009.
Lubansky, a forward/midfielder from Chaska High School, was a team captain in 2009 and received the Hawk Spirit Award from her peers. The honor student has played 10 years for the CC United Summer Club Team and was part of the 2007 Summer State Champions squad.
St. Scholastica will begin its season against the same team that ended its season in the 2009 NCAA Tournament as Macalester College comes to town on September 1st. Be sure to keep an eye on csssaints.com throughout the summer for the latest women's soccer information.
