LA CROSSE, Wis. – In its final meet of the 2010 season, the St. Scholastica men's and women's track & field teams managed to break one school record at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Last Chance Meet on Thursday night.

The one school record was broken by #John Howard# (Jr.-Elk River, Minn.) in the discus throw with a toss of 140' (42.67m). Other top men's performers include #Peter Drinkwine# (Fr.-Superior, Wis.), who finished eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 41'-7.75” (12.69m). #Tony Evans# (Jr.-New Richmond, Wis.) was second in the javelin throw with a distance of 148'-7” (45.28m).

On the women's side, #Nikki Hughes# (So.-South Range, Wis./Northwestern) was just off her record time in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 2:15.93 seconds. #Rachel Miller# (Fr.-Hinckley, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson) was ninth in the triple jump with a leap of 35'-6.75” (10.84m). #Alec Seeley# (So.-Cadott, Wis.) was seventh in the hammer throw with a toss of 157'-1” (47.87m).
