WOMEN’S HOCKEY RECRUITS: CANADIAN DUO

DULUTH, Minn. – Forward Briget Cojocar (Limerick, Saskatchewan/Lafleche HS (Melville Prairie Fire)) and defenseman Alana Levido (Richmond, British Columbia/Burnaby North Secondary (Pacific Steelers)) will be the first Canadian players on the St. Scholastica women's hockey recruiting class that we will spotlight.

Cojocar, a native of Limerick, Saskatchewan, was named the most underrated player on her Melville Fox FM Prairie Fire squad of the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League. She is a three-time selection to the Sask First Zone Team and was a provincial track finalist. She was also a badminton division champion. Cojocar won the 2009 Melville Youth Volunteer award.

Levido, a native of Richmond, British Columbia, won various MVP awards throughout her high school career. She also participated in volleyball, basketball, and rugby.

The Saints open their season November 5th at Mars Lakeview Arena against Augsburg College.
